This Lansing group wants to elect a president who will do ‘less harm’ to black people
Angela Waters Austin knows the history of the south Lansing neighborhood where her nonprofit, One Love Global, has its office.
As a community organizer and the CEO, she has studied how people of color are disproportionately stopped by police in communities like the one near West Holmes Road and South Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
It's overpoliced, she said, but that's exactly why she wanted to be there.
