Give young people the right tools, and they’ll get engaged in their future, and speak truth to power. Those are just two aims of the Young, Political, Powerful, Youth summit that will run from 9:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, November 1, at Lake Michigan College Mendel Center. More than 700 young people from around the state are expected to participate in the summit – which is co-sponsored by My Brother’s Keeper (MBK), and the Gen Equity Network. The event is free.
