Detroiter finding common ground with others through community organizing

During her junior year at Detroit's Cody High School, Ragine Head made a commitment to confront issues such as neighborhood beautification and violence near her school that ignited her passion for helping others and bettering the community around her.

Referring to herself as a community organizer and social justice warrior, Head now works tirelessly across racial and geographic divides as the Director of Grassroots Policy Action for One Love Global, a Michigan-based nonprofit centered around racial equity and youth organizing for social change.
