Sean L. Holland was born in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1973. He is an experienced saxophonist and has played in a variety of venues around the world. Sean attended Florida A&M University (FAMU), where he was a member of Phi Eta Sigma- honor roll society and the Jazz Ensemble. In 1995, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Public Administration. He earned a Master of Arts in Min. Leadership from Cornerstone University. In 2013, The International Canadian University appointed Sean as an Ambassador and Chaplain to the United Nations (UN) Economic and Social Council. He holds an Honorary Doctorate in Philosophy & Humane Letters from CICA International University and Seminary. Sean has been mentored and trained by some of the best leaders in the business and non-profit community organizing. As a successful entrepreneur, Sean has worked for Federal Reserve Bank, Common Cause, and Fortune 500 companies such as Proctor & Gamble and CSX Transportation.
In 2003, Sean co-founded VISION, a Michigan State University (MSU) student organization. To-date, VISION continues to equip students with the social and emotional skills necessary to lead and thrive in purpose. Sean expanded the VISION model to Lansing Community College, Western Michigan University, Cooley Law School, Kettering University of Flint, MI, Lamar College of Colorado. That student-led movement birthed an international ministry called Epicenter of Worship. In late 2004, Sean founded the Epicenter of Worship Church of Lansing, MI. In January of 2006, Sean retired from CSX to pursue a full-time career as the Sr. Pastor of the Epicenter of Worship Church. As a result, Sean has mentored and equipped hundreds of students and raised leaders who are now serving globally.
Sean is also the President of I AM Equipped to Excel (IAM e2e), which is an organization committed to equipping leaders with the necessary tools to reach their maximum potential. He has traveled across the United States, South America, and Africa motivating leaders with his unique 5-step leadership development model. In 2018, Sean joined the Purpose Prep team as a Professional Development Specialist. Purpose Prep is a premier K-12 Social Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum and service provider committed to bringing evidence-based, media-rich, and relevant curriculum into schools around the world. Recently, Sean joined One Love Global as the Director of Transformational Leadership. One Love Global works to revitalize urban centers and create sustainable communities where justice, peace and opportunity are attainable for all children. Dr. Holland lives in Lansing, MI, with his wife Tayana, four children, where he continues to serve and build his community.
